Keeping Internet Discovery Safe Grant
The K.I.D.S. Grant is awarded twice each fiscal year to the most qualified applicant organizations received. The K.I.D.S. Grant is need basis funding, and can range in amount based on the feedback of the sponsored recipient.
We are now accepting applications for the next half of the fiscal year, with a K.I.D.S. Grant to be awarded in March 2011. We encourage you to apply early, as we the potential to receive thousands of applications before the closure date of January 31st, 2011.
The K.I.D.S. Grant covers costs related to purchasing needed materials for youth training sessions, hiring of instructor for custom training, and acquirement of technology resources for your center or school. Most recipients work with a local community college, junior college, or training provider for qualified instruction and/or lab location services. If your school or center is awarded a K.I.D.S. Grant, we will work with you to acquire the needed resources to make the most of this great resource.
