How to access and backup your files when you can't access Windows

Step 1: Launch Parted Magic. See instructions that came with your order on how to do this. Or see here.

Step 2: On your desktop, click on...


And a file explorer launches that works exactly like file exploring in Windows. You can access, delete, copy, paste between folders and drives.


If you wish to backup your file to an external hard-drive or USB stick — simply plug them into your computer.

Parted Magic will auto-detect them and show them in the list.


OR on some computers it may show this screen...

If it does, click "Mount" next to the plugged in drive.
